SUCCESS STORY: She Worked Out 2 Hours a Day and Got No RESULTS Until…

Featured

My Story: Bernadette’a Story In high school, I always had low self esteem about my body. At age 16, I took the initiative to start getting active in sports. After I lost weight over one of my high school summers, I kept a regular exercise routine. I never cared for nutrition and ate whatever I wanted because I was constantly staying active in a sport or some kind of physical activity like biking or running. I am now 28, and this past year, I noticed my body was not as toned as it used to be. I realized I didn’t have the same metabolism I did as a teen or in my early 20s. I was still keeping my small frame but I didn’t have the definition I wanted. Doing the same exercise routine daily was causing me to plateau even though I was working out for 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I’ve always feared carrying more than 5lb weights because of the myth of getting “too bulky” and I would constantly stick to steady pace cardio. I kept routinely getting emails from Women’s Health Magazine about the Spartacus Workout and HIIT. I did a search for a free workout program and came across Funk’s free 4 week program. After completing the four week program, I noticed an increase in my strength and endurance. My only regret was not tracking my progress. My Testimony: I decided to try Funk’s 10 Week Spartan Program and followed the exercise and nutrition plan religiously. This program is amazing! My workout time was cut in half. Max workout time was 41 minutes and I saw results in every weekly picture and measurements I took. I stopped believing the myths about lifting heavier and getting bulky.   I am currently using 15lb kettle bells and sometimes 20 lbs depending on the exercise. I started with a 12 inch plyo box and now I am able to clear a 30 inch plyo box. A heavier weight with the HIIT Spartacus Program will help you burn fat and preserve lean muscle. I have increased strength and endurance. I can jump higher and run faster. I have never felt more energetic. Each workout is different which gives you the muscle confusion and variety you need to keep you from hitting a plateau. I believe the most important part is the nutrition. If your diet is not right, your body will not change. Laura D’s nutrition guide is easy to follow but you have to dedicate time to prep your food for the week and stick with it. What lifestyle changes did I have to make? * I’m a nurse. I work 12 hour shifts so I woke up an extra hour earlier to complete my workout before work and went to bed an hour earlier to get enough sleep before the next workout day. *I picked a day off to make sure my meals were prepped for the week. *I made healthier eating choices by following the nutrition plan. What were my motivations? *I have a family history of hypertension. I was diagnosed with chronic hypertension at the age of 23. I am currently 28. I know most people would never think that by looking at me but it’s genetic. I have a family history of high cholesterol. Although I have not been diagnosed, I wanted to change my unhealthy eating habits and make better nutrition choices for myself long-term. My frustration with no change in my body and working out 2 hours a day made me realize I had reached a plateau and I needed a change in my exercise and nutrition routines. I was losing self-confidence and self-esteem in myself. Encouragement to others: I understand that everyone is individualized and may be at different fitness levels. Do what you can. Start out walking, jogging, then running. Start out with body weight, light weight, then heavier weights. Gradually build yourself up and don’t quit. However, if you want the change you desire, try Funk’s 10 Week Spartan program. It will not steer you wrong. As Funk would say, “GET IT DONE!” Many Thanks! Thank you Funk for the excellent workout program and Laura for the easy to follow nutrition plan. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done but one of the most rewarding. Bernadette C

STS Success Story: Laszlo’s Journey From Torn ACL to Ripped Spartan Warrior! (PICS)

“Doing a pushup was impossible and painful as hell” I love to share success stories and Laszlo’s is incredible. Not only did he use the Spartan Training System 10 Week Fat Loss program to get ripped while building more muscle, but he also recovered from a torn ACL and doubted that he would ever be able to do the exercises and metabolic workouts again. Check out his email message below and pictures of his journey Hey Funk, Finally, I have finished your 10-week Spartan Training. It was hard, it was tough, but it was the best thing I’ve ever done or tried out in the gym. We cheated a little bit with the 10 weeks, because we held an extra week with your Kick Ass workout and your 300-dumbbell challenge workout, but I think the results are great. Before the 10-week programme I’ve tried out the 300-dumbbell challenge and my time was 14:15 with a 10 kg dumbbell. After the 10-week programme I’ve done it again and my time was 16:45 with a 16 kg dumbbell. When I’ve torn my ACL a year ago in august and I was only able to walk with a pair of crutches (you can see those times on the third picture), I haven’t thought that one day I will be able to do exercises like this again. My leg was so unstable, that doing a pushup was impossible and painful as hell, but then I’ve found your YouTube channel and your blog, a year passed by and now I am in better shape then ever. I am stronger than ever and now I am qualified Fitness Instructor as well. It would have been impossible without your workout program, nutrition plan and motivation. I just would like to thank you once again for creating these awesome workouts for us and teaching the world how to live, train and eat much healthier. You are a real icon Funk, thank you once again! Greetings from Hungary!                 Best regards, László Kiripóczky LEARN HOW YOU CAN GET INTO THE BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE WITH SPARTAN TRAINING SYSTEM 10 WEEK FAT LOSS PROGRAM – CLICK HERE

Spartan Success Story – Joseph’s Body Transformation (Pic)

One of the most frustrating things about getting back to the gym with the goal of getting your old body back is not knowing where to start and what workouts to do. Even more frustrating, is not knowing what foods you should be eating to stay healthy and get lean. Unless you are using my Spartan 10 Week Program Check out how Joseph used my metabolic workouts, nutrition info and training logic to help get the body he always wanted and into the best shape of his life.                  Dear fellow Spartan, My name is Joseph Mejia,  I live in Riverside (Southern California) and have been a subscriber now for a good amount of time. I weighed 230lbs at the time of subscribing. I used to be in shape in high school and after sports my metabolism dropped but not the same foods I was eating.  When I looked in the mirror one day, I was disgusted with myself for letting go of what I used to have.  I knew I had to change my physical appearance because of my upcoming career of being a firefighter. I wanted to be the best candidate for the job, but didn’t know what methods to do since I was no longer able to continue in the physical activities that kept my weight in check.   I then found your videos on YouTube and they directed me to your main website. I incorporated your logic and Spartan workouts into my own and was astonished that I now have the body I always wanted. It took me five months to get where I am now…and I’m not stopping anytime soon! Thank you, Joseph Mejia   If you are struggling with you’re training and getting no results. Spartan Pete Transform His Body from 264lbs to 185lbs and is Ready for Battle

Former Hockey Player Pete Mongeau Loses 80lbs and Prepares for Battle with help of Spartacus Workouts     When Pete from Atlanta, Georgia first sent me a message on Facebook, telling me that my workouts had helped him to get to a lean 185lbs, I didn’t realize there was a fantastic transformation story behind it. His success story really inspires me. First because he is 39 years old and is heading into his second MMA Fight (Make sure to watch his fight below) and second because he lost over 80lbs and is preparing for his Muay Thai fight, Feb 12, 2012. His path to his amazing transformation has spanned over a year and the dedication, discipline and perseverance to overcome barriers is incredibly inspiring and motivating. It shows that if you have a goal, keep it in your sights and stay focused on achieving success anything is possible. Pete used Spartacus workouts to reach his now 185lbs of lean muscle (check out his brief training video) and cutting to 175lbs for his fight. Pete is also a Strength and Conditioning Coach and HIIT Specialist, so incorporating Muay Thai Training, FunkMMA Workouts, Pete’s own training principles and clean nutrition has brought him great success. Congratulations Pete, Great Work! PETE’S STORY (EMAIL) Funk, I wanted to share with you my experience with your program as a 39 year old Muay Thai fighter I needed an edge to keep up with the younger fighters. Two years ago I began my journey at Sept 10 2010 264 lbs. heavy and not competitive at all. As an ECAC All-American ice hockey career in my past I was well aware of what it took to be competitive once again. I have enclosed a series of photo’s to mark my progress. By Sept 10 2011 I had cut my weight down to 215 lbs. and cutting to 190 at fight time. I needed to shock the body. That’s when I found you and your program on the web!!! Today I am walking around at 188 and am cutting to 175 for my next fight Feb 17th Bangkok Fight Night 12. My most recent pictures outside are last weekend taken for the promotional poster for the fight. Your combination of workouts and the amount of level changes that each workout provides is the key to my recent success. If any fighters have any doubt I would be happy to share more about my success!
